¹³ So Haggai said, “If one who is unclean by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become unclean?”

The kohanim answered and said, “It does become unclean.”

¹⁴ Then, Haggai answered and said, “So it is with this people. So is this nation before Me”—it is a declaration of Adonai—“and so is every work of their hands.
